Pet Dental Cleanings & Oral Care in Portland, OR

Did you know by the age of 3, over 80% of pets have dental disease? At your pet’s exam we will look at their teeth, gums, tongue and throat for abnormalities and may recommend further oral care. Daily brushing and/or dental treats with the VOHC seal of approval help keep mouths healthy, but all pets should have dental cleanings under anesthesia annually. Our dental cleanings include full-mouth radiographs, probing and charting, cleaning, and polishing. We may also recommend the removal of broken or diseased teeth.

Are your pets’ chew toys too hard? Hard chews like Nylabones, antlers, and sticks easily break teeth, causing pain and infection. To help keep their teeth intact, try to stick to softer chews like rubber Kong toys.
